Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Demand & Supply Planner to own material flow from raw materials to finished goods and to signal and forecast demand, ensuring ERP systems support our hardware requirements.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Purchasing, and Manufacturing to resolve supply issues, lead S&OP discussions, and drive inventory optimization, reporting on health metrics to guide decisions. Relocation to Costa Mesa, CA and up to 10% travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field.
• 3+ years in a supply chain or production role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong ownership of a complex value chain coordinating multiple departments.
• Technical understanding of hardware manufacturing processes.
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, NetSuite) and CRM (Salesforce).

About The Job

Anduril’s Demand & Supply Planning team is seeking a world-class Demand & Supply Planner to join our team. The Demand & Supply Planner has an integral role at Anduril, having material flow responsibility throughout the entire value chain, from raw materials to finished goods shipped to customers. They will have full ownership of certain assemblies and product lines, and will be ultimately responsible for sending the correct signals to Purchasing and Manufacturing on what and when to buy or build. This hire will be instrumental in signaling and forecasting accurate demand, planning inventory levels, and ensuring that Anduril supports its hardware requirements via Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software and other associated tools.

What You'll Do

• Manage day-to-day demand signaling, ordering, and inventory for various product lines.

• Work with Business Development and Growth teams to align forecasts with actual demand plans.
• Report on and analyze supply and material health to inform key decisions for Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Business Development.
• Develop and maintain processes within MRP systems and associated master data.
• Drive strategic initiatives towards best practices, including demand shaping, advanced modeling, and inventory optimization.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (i.e. manufacturing, engineering, analytics, computer science, etc.) or business field (i.e. finance, economics, supply chain management, business administration, marketing, etc.)
• 3+ years of experience in a supply chain or production role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment dealing with complex assemblies.
• Complete ownership of a complex value chain, coordinating between multiple, high volume of departments and teams to ensure on-time deliveries and adherence to quality standards.
• Technical expertise including ability to read technical documentation and understanding hardware manufacturing processes.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, NetSuite, and CRM systems like Salesforce.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
• Ability to relocate, if not already local to be onsite in Costa Mesa, CA.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree or other higher education.
• Strong experience with SQL databases, including building custom queries for production and inventory metrics.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlikview.
• Knowledge of supply chain planning systems like Blue Yonder and best practices in demand planning, inventory management, and S&OP.
• Experience with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, six sigma principles, and big data evaluation techniques.
• Proactive, able to take substantial responsibility across various functions, with a focus on speed and accuracy.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance.

US Salary Range

$117,000-$154,000 USD
