Job summary

Consolidated Edison Company of New York is seeking a senior leader to direct its Demand Response program portfolio, including strategy, operations, regulatory affairs, and stakeholder engagement.

You will oversee performance, manage a diverse team, coordinate with NYISO, PSC, and regulators, and drive growth of dispatchable distributed energy resources to support reliability and clean energy goals.

Qualifications

• Master's degree and 6 years full-time experience, including 3 years in demand response, clean energy, utilities, distributed energy resources, grid modernization, program management, operations, strategy, regulatory affairs, or related.
• Bachelor's degree and 8 years full-time experience, including 3 years in demand response, clean energy, utilities, distributed energy resources, grid modernization, program management, operations, strategy, regulatory affairs, or related.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in dynamic utility or clean energy environments, required.
• Ability to work with ambiguity and lead in a dynamic environment, required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Demand Response section responsible for strategy, operations, regulatory, technology, and stakeholder engagement for Con Edison’s DR programs.
• Direct and develop managers and teams for program strategy, enrollment, dispatch, performance analysis, settlements, reporting, customer engagement, NYISO coordination.
• Collaborate with Distribution Planning and Customer Energy Solutions leadership to align DR objectives with grid needs and policy goals.
• Lead short- and long-term DR strategy, including design, growth, performance improvement, and customer value.
