Job summary

Opella is seeking a Demand Planning Analyst to support forecast accuracy across brands and inventory plans. You’ll coordinate with Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain to drive reliable demand signals and align planning with the IBP process.

The role emphasizes working with Kinaxis and SAP to build robust forecasts, plus delivering clear reports and insights to production and stakeholders in a fast-paced, hybrid environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or 5+ years of experience in demand planning, manufacturing, inventory control, or analytics.
  • Experience with Kinaxis and/or SAP preferred; other ERP system experience is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Manage key activities within Kinaxis, including NPIs, SKU forecast disaggregation, and pricing maintenance.
  • Drive forecast accuracy and bias improvements through reporting, statistical models, business insights, and marketing strategies.
  • Prepare monthly consumption and shipment reports/models across all brands.
  • Support inventory reduction and customer service goals while aligning with long-term business strategy.
  • Provide timely and accurate item-level forecasts to production planners.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and other teams to integrate business strategies into the demand plan.
  • Analyze forecast accuracy, POS trends, inventory, and shipment forecasts, identify issues, recommend solutions, and support continuous improvement.

About you:

  • Self-motivated and adaptable, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
