Job summary

Dal-Tile Corp. is seeking a Demand Planning Analyst to support the Supply Chain function through business planning and ongoing data analysis.

The role involves working on projects with a large team, conducting analyses, and applying analytical thinking to address business challenges. The candidate will collaborate across functions to develop and monitor forecast accuracy, manage day-to-day demand planning activities, and use BI tools to drive improvements in inventory and capacity alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
• 2-4 years’ relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.

• Perform accurate analyses, conduct research, and draw meaningful conclusions about potential job/work-area impacts.
• Effectively apply functional, process, and procedural or technical imagination to address business challenges.
• Conduct analysis, integration, and coordination of various elements in assigned area of supporting supply chain.
• Collaborate with necessary functions/positions to develop, monitor, and improve forecast accuracy for product line(s) as assigned.
• Execute the day to day demand planning activities, including but not limited to supporting the S&OP development and analyzing demand analytics.
• Help analyze and align demand with capacity for assigned groups.
• Maintain, improve, and provide recommendations on the assigned Supply Chain function using BI software.
• Develop new processes and procedures to deliver value-added supply chain analytical services to support management decision making process.
• Actively manage working and non-working inventories in assigned businesses to maintain compliance and achieve inventory investment targets.
• Monitor output and drive continuous improvement with each defined metric. Recommend new ways to track inventory reporting.
• Execute cost and profit modeling using existing capacity planning tools.
• May be responsible for additional responsibilities as defined by area such as sales operations planning and freight.
• Perform other duties as needed.

The Demand Planning Analyst is an established performer that works to facilitate and support the Supply Chain function and projects. This role supports the enterprise supply chain network through the development of business plans and on-going analysis of business and industry data.

• This role does NOT provide current or future sponsorship assistance.
• Please note that we will NOT provide relocation assistance (Candidates are expected to relocate on own 3 weeks from time of offer acceptance).
• Employees are required to report in office 4 days a week / 7834 CF Hawn Freeway | Dallas, Texas 75217 (NO NEGOTIATION).
• This is a direct hire role; We are NOT open to employing through contractor or agency.

Required Experience and Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
• 2-4 years’ relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.
