As part of the Supply Chain and Manufacturing team, this position will assist with developing and implementing the company's demand plan. Key responsibilities include:
- Creates a demand plan that satisfies customer demand with optimum inventory levels and resource utilization.
- Measures overall forecast accuracy. Evaluates forecast versus orders and suggests corrective actions.
- Works with Product teams and Sales to continuously improve forecasting processes.
- Supports the S&OP process meetings to review service levels, performance against schedule, inventory strategy, and supply plans to meet demand and resource implications. Identifies constraints and challenges.
- Interfaces as required with internal customers and suppliers to resolve issues and enable company goals to be met.
- Assesses revenue risks and gaps within the schedule or inventory goals and communicates appropriately within the organization.
- Works with Supply Chain Engineering to ensure forecast support for NPI implementations, including pilot and production ramps. Reflects forecast to support product down ramp within the product lifecycle.
- Identifies, negotiates, and resolves conflicts related to material and capacity availability and order promising.
- Maintains finished goods inventory at target levels to ensure high service levels, including product availability and capacity requirements. Determines and updates planning parameters to support inventory and capacity levels.
- Develops a working knowledge of the company's products and processes to ensure demand plan stability and load leveling.
Essential Skills / Requirements:
- Two or more years of experience in supply chain, manufacturing, or forecasting. Experience in a demand planning or forecasting environment, or with outsourced contract manufacturers, is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of major MRP / ERP systems.
- Understanding of general supply chain processes, including manufacturing planning, demand planning, and inventory replenishment.
- Ability to manage complexity and resolve conflicts arising from balancing multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, including advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with Kinaxis, Oracle, Salesforce.
- Certification in Production and Inventory Management via APICS, CPIM, is a plus.
- Lean / Six Sigma experience; certification is a plus.
- Strong communication, presentation, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
