For more than 40 years, our products have championed connection—creating meaningful moments that bring parents and children closer together, while supporting healthy child development.

With global offices in Norway, the Netherlands, the U.S., Germany, France, and Asia, Stokke offers a truly international work environment. We are committed to shaping a better world through confident kids, innovative thinking, and responsible growth.

The Position
Parent & Child at the Heart

As Demand Planner for the Americas, you will play a critical role in ensuring families can reliably access Stokke products when they need them. By building accurate forecasts and supporting strong planning decisions across the U.S. and Canada, your work directly enables product availability, service excellence, and positive customer experiences for parents and children.

Agility, Speed & Execution

This role requires analytical precision, ownership, and the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights at pace. You will support the S&OP process, partner cross‑functionally, and continuously refine planning models to drive reliable execution in a fast‑moving commercial environment.

This role is based in Stamford, CT, with a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite).

Main Responsibilities
Forecasting & Demand Planning
  • Develop and refine statistical demand forecasts at SKU, product family, and customer levels.
  • Apply advanced quantitative forecasting techniques using historical data, trends, seasonality, and external factors.
  • Maintain and optimise planning parameters including safety stock, variability factors, and replenishment logic.
S&OP / S&OE Support
  • Provide analytical inputs to the S&OP cycle, including forecast accuracy, risks, and opportunities.
  • Conduct scenario planning to support leadership decision‑making and business readiness.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to align demand, supply, and commercial expectations.
  • Analyse POS data, pricing elasticity, and promotional impacts to refine forecasts.
  • Identify shifts in consumer demand drivers and evaluate promotional effectiveness.
  • Support pricing and promotional strategy through data‑driven insights.
  • Build and maintain dashboards (Power BI or similar) to visualise KPIs, forecast accuracy, demand trends, and inventory health.
  • Translate complex datasets into clear PowerPoint presentations and business recommendations.
  • Perform data cleansing, root‑cause analysis, and deep dives to support continuous improvement.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to ensure alignment on demand signals.
  • Communicate insights effectively to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to improve forecast accuracy and inventory performance.
  • Enhance forecasting models, analytics frameworks, and planning processes.
  • Identify data gaps and recommend infrastructure or process improvements.
  • Stay current with industry best practices in demand planning and analytics.
The Ideal Profile

You are curious, analytical, and motivated to improve how forecasting and planning support business performance. You enjoy exploring new models, tools, and methodologies to raise the quality and impact of demand planning decisions.

Everyone Has a Seat at the Table

You collaborate confidently across functions and communicate complex insights with clarity. You value partnership, transparency, and shared accountability, ensuring that planning decisions are understood and supported across the organisation.

You bring a strong balance of technical expertise and business acumen, with the ability to influence outcomes through data.

Requirements
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in demand planning, supply chain analytics, or a closely related function.
  • Strong expertise in statistical forecasting methods (regression, time series, exponential smoothing).
  • Experience working with ERP and planning tools such as M3, RELEX, SAP IBP, Oracle, Anaplan, or Kinaxis.
  • Proven ability to interpret complex datasets and present insights clearly to non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working in cross‑functional environments; consulting experience is a plus.
Technical & Professional Skills
  • Expert‑level Excel skills (Power Query, advanced formulas, pivot tables; VBA a plus).
  • Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
  • Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
What We Offer
  • A collaborative and supportive environment where insights directly influence business success.
  • Opportunities for professional development through global learning programmes.
  • Hybrid work flexibility and tools designed to support high performance.
