Job summary

Amcor LLC in Oshkosh, Wisconsin seeks a Demand Planner I to support the development of the demand forecast and align supply chain resources. You will work with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to understand market trends and drive forecast accuracy.

The role emphasizes data insights, statistical forecasting, and collaboration across functions to deliver a consensus plan and continuous improvement in planning processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management or a related field and 1-3 years of relevant experience OR Equivalent combination of education & relevant experience totaling 5-7 years
  • Experience working in Supply Chain, preferably with experience in some or all of these areas: Customer Service, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Demand Planning
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong mathematical/analytical skill set
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • ERP systems experience preferred
  • WCOM knowledge and/or Lean Six Sigma Certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Uses data insights to improve sales forecast accuracy
  • Leads the development of the demand forecast to be used in consensus planning process
  • Collaborates with Sales, Marketing and Operations to assess market trends and demand drivers
  • Analyzes past and future demand trends and updates the forecast accordingly
  • Uses demand planning systems to create an effective statistical forecast
  • Provides reporting on forecast accuracy and drives continuous improvements
  • Delivers accurate and timely demand forecast for assigned area
  • Collaborates with other functional teams to develop a consensus plan

This position is a key driver in creating and managing the true customer demand which provides alignment for Supply Chain and AFNA resources. This individual reports to Sr Supply Chain Manager by Business Unit.
