Job Overview

The Demand Planner plays a critical role in developing and maintaining accurate item and plant level demand forecasts to support inventory, sales, and operational planning. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to align demand plans with business objectives and ensure product availability to meet customer needs. The Demand Planner will support decision-making through analysis and collaboration with Sales, Operations, and Finance.

Job Overview

The Demand Planner plays a critical role in developing and maintaining accurate item and plant level demand forecasts to support inventory, sales, and operational planning. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to align demand plans with business objectives and ensure product availability to meet customer needs. The Demand Planner will support decision-making through analysis and collaboration with Sales, Operations, and Finance.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in the creation and presentation of regular SIOP meetings with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Executive teams.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Fulfillment to create reliable monthly forecasts for all Trailer business units
• Partner with Operations to ensure demand forecasts support production capacity and supply chain planning
• Work with Scheduling and Fulfillment teams to align demand signals with inventory availability and customer delivery goals
  
  

Analyze forecast variances, identify root causes, and recommend adjustments to improve forecast accuracy

• Support supply chain optimization by aligning demand plans with production strategy and network capabilities
• Track and report key demand planning metrics and KPIs
• Champion a customer-focused mindset through strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external partners
• Assist with ad hoc analysis and reporting to support strategic business initiatives
  
  

Minimum Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
• + 3 years of experience in SIOP, Demand Planning, Production Planning, or Merchandise Planning
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI
• Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
