Superhuman is one of the largest technology media companies in the world: 2 million+ readers across 5 publications, led by Superhuman AI (1.5M subscribers). Our mission is to become the biggest newsletter publisher in tech by being the most trusted source of information for millions of professionals. Journalists, sellers and operators from NBC, BBC and Morning Brew have joined us to make the next big leap in their careers.
About the role
Amazon, Google, HubSpot, IBM and 100+ tech companies sponsor Superhuman newsletters, and revenue has doubled three years in a row. Most of that revenue comes from outbound sales. Your job is to build the inbound engine beside it: a high-velocity funnel that turns B2B marketers into booked calls and closed sponsorships at $15-25K ACV, with 30 day sales cycles, at a rate of one new deal a week within your first two quarters and scaling from there.
You will own the B2B sponsor demand-gen engine end to end: a LinkedIn-first program (Thought Leader ads from our founder’s 1M-follower account, persona and “vs paid social” campaigns, named-account ABM, retargeting), the Meta and Google layers, the conversion site behind them, HubSpot routing and nurture, and the weekly scorecard the company reads. You work with an in-house designer, a LinkedIn agency you will direct or replace, and a full AE/SDR team that takes every call you produce. You are measured on qualified leads ($10K+ budget), booked calls, closed sponsorship revenue and cost per qualified lead.
What you’ll do
- Design, launch and run the LinkedIn program: account structure, audiences (functions and seniorities for cold, account lists for ABM, 30/90-day retargeting pools), bidding, pacing, frequency and weekly optimisation
- Turn our founder’s LinkedIn presence into a Thought Leader ads engine: brief two posts a week, run them to the right audiences, retarget the engagers
- Run a creative production line: 12-24 new concepts a month from a shared formula sheet (pain, product, proof, account), two or three visual variants each, winners kept live, losers cut on a written kill rule
- Sell each newsletter as its own product in ads and on the site, with its real subscriber count and open rate
- Build the proof factory: turn sponsor results into case studies, proof cards and sales enablement on a two-a-month cadence
- Own the conversion path: landing and comparison pages, the form and its budget routing, instant booking into AE calendars, speed-to-lead SLAs, nurture sequences, the quarterly media-kit refresh
- Run the numbers: qualified leads - booked calls - held - deals - closed-won, by campaign and week, with clean UTMs and offline conversions back to the ad platforms
- Direct the designer’s queue, run the agency and the Meta/Google layer, and sit in sales pipeline reviews so lead definitions and routing stay honest
What you bring
- 3+ years in B2B demand generation with hands-on LinkedIn Ads: you have personally built and run campaigns at $30K+/month for at least a year
- You have built (not inherited) an inbound funnel that fed a sales team at $10K-$50K deal sizes and high velocity, and you can walk us through it with the numbers
- You have owned a pipeline or revenue target, not an MQL count
- You write your own ad copy, and it’s good: bring 30 ads you wrote and what they produced
- You have sold to marketers before, at startups or at Fortune 1000 companies, and you know how they buy media
- HubSpot fluency: workflows, sequences, routing, attribution, offline conversions
- You have directed or replaced an agency, and you treat AI tools as leverage for the boring parts of the job
- Based in the United States with work authorisation; remote
Nice to have: newsletter or media-industry experience, founder-brand or Thought Leader ads, Clay or Apollo, RevenueHero or Chili Piper, Google Search for B2B, basic Figma or Canva.
