Job summary

AMD is seeking a Business Planning Manager within the Adaptive & Embedded Computing Group (AECG) to own end-market demand forecasting and business operations for defined x86 markets, including Automotive, Industrial, and more. This role requires independent management of complex forecast cycles and proactive collaboration across Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and Engineering.

You will load market data into SAP IBP, maintain models, and provide leadership with actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in FP&A, demand planning, or supply chain/operations.
• Advanced Excel and BI reporting skills; able to build and maintain complex forecast models.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to present to leadership.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to meet multiple deadlines.
• Ability to work independently with sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end monthly and quarterly forecast cycle for assigned end markets.
• Load and reconcile market forecast data (unit volume, ASP, revenue, margin) in SAP IBP.
• Maintain forecast models and provide timely, data-driven recommendations to leadership.
• Align demand forecasts with supply requests and resolve discrepancies before quarter-end.
• Provide weekly and quarterly performance reviews with insights on risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Product teams on roadmap alignment.
