Job summary

Randstad Digital in Loris, SC is seeking a Demand & Forecast Planning Manager to lead a team of 4 Demand Planners and 1 Senior Demand Planner. You will own the end-to-end monthly demand forecasting cycle and translate the plan into purchasing and stocking strategies for assigned product lines.

You will serve as the primary consensus builder linking Sales, Marketing, Procurement, and Warehouse Operations, and oversee PO generation and inventory health initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years in demand planning or supply chain planning.
• 3-5 years direct management/supervisory experience leading a team of planners.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Supply Chain, Business, Operations).
• Experience with StockIQ and NetSuite preferred.

Job Summary

The Demand & Forecast Planning Manager is a high-visibility leadership role responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the company's master demand plan and translating that plan into optimal purchasing and inventory fulfillment decisions. Managing a team of four Demand Planners and one Senior Demand Planner, this role oversees the end-to-end monthly forecasting cycle, purchase order (PO) generation, and stocking level strategies across assigned product lines. The Manager serves as the primary consensus builder linking Sales, Marketing, Procurement, and Warehouse Operations.

Responsibilities

• Demand Planning & Strategic Forecasting - Monthly Process Ownership: Own the end-to-end monthly demand forecasting cycle for assigned product portfolios, ensuring rigorous data integrity and timely submission of the final consensus forecast. - Short & Long-Term Forecasting: Oversee short-term (1-3 month) and long-term (12-24 month) demand models, integrating market intelligence, POS trends, promotional campaigns, and New Product Introductions (NPIs). DMA Industries, LLC - Built On Passion Page 2 - CPFR Leadership: Facilitate scheduled customer Collaborative Planning, Forecasting, and Replenishment (CPFR) reviews with key commercial partners. - KPI Performance Tracking: Establish, monitor, and report key performance metrics including Forecast Accuracy, Forecast Bias, Order Fill Rates, and Inventory Turns. B. Team Leadership & Talent Development - Direct Management: Directly manage, coach, and mentor a team of 4 Demand Planners and 1 Sr. Demand Planner, fostering professional growth and high team performance. - Workload Allocation: Assign and balance forecasting workloads across product categories, sales channels, and geographical distribution nodes. - Methodology & System Training: Identify training needs and guide planners in leveraging advanced statistical forecasting models and software system capabilities. C. Procurement & Inventory Optimization - Purchase Order (PO) Generation: Oversee the translation of the finalized demand plan into actionable purchase orders, ensuring alignment with vendor lead times, MOQs, and supplier agreements. - Inventory Health & ES&O; Control: Partner with Supply Planning and Finance to establish optimal safety stock levels and min/max targets while driving actions to minimize Excess, Slow-Moving, and Obsolete (ES&O;) inventory. - Supplier Performance & Expediting: Monitor supplier On-Time In-Full (OTIF) delivery metrics. Evaluate inventory timing and provide cost-benefit shipment expediting recommendations (Air vs. Ocean freight) to executive leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience: - 5-7 years of dedicated Demand Planning, Forecasting, or Supply Chain Planning

• Education: - Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, Data Analytics, or equivalent professional experience.


• Software & Tech Skills: - StockIQ Experience: Working knowledge or direct experience with StockIQ demand planning software is strongly preferred.


• ERP/MRP Systems: Strong experience integrating demand plans with ERP platforms


• (NetSuite Experience Highly Preferred).


• Advanced MS Excel: Expert proficiency in spreadsheets, pivot tables, data modeling


• and reporting.


• Core Competencies: - Deep mastery of Statistical Forecasting methodologies and MRP principles.


• Outstanding communication, presentation, and consensus-building skills across executive leadership, Sales, Marketing, and Operations.
