Job summary

Leidos Biomedical Research, Inc. at the Frederick National Laboratory in Frederick, MD, is seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Architect/ETL Lead to design and govern Costpoint analytics, data models, and cloud data platforms. This hybrid role requires on-site presence at least one day per week.

You will lead data integration using SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and SQL databases, ensure data quality and security, and mentor developers and analysts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or four (4) years relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• Eight (8) years of experience in data integration, ETL, and data modeling roles.
• Experience designing enterprise analytics platforms, not just developing pipelines.
• Translate complex ERP data structures into clean analytical models.
• Experience leading cloud migration or modernization initiatives for data platforms.
• Extensive experience with Deltek Costpoint (or other ERP) and related data flows.
• Familiarity integrating modeled data with Cognos and other BI platforms.
• Expert-level data modeling including star/snowflake schemas and slowly changing dimensions.

Responsibilities

• Deltek Costpoint Data & Reporting Architecture; SME for Costpoint data architecture.
• Lead enterprise data modeling, governance, and dimensional/relational models.
• Lead modernization of legacy databases and provisioning of OOTB transformation models.
• Drive performance optimization of data models, SQL logic, and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Architect high-volume data integrations using SSIS and Azure Data Factory; ensure security and quality.
