Job summary

The Stellix Group is seeking an Automation Engineer to design, configure, test, and maintain DeltaV Control Systems Applications across process industries. You will help optimize processes, support manufacturing operations, and participate in DCS start-ups at customer sites.

Qualifications include a BS in Engineering, 3+ years with DeltaV, instrumentation expertise, strong communication, and teamwork. Willingness to travel to customer sites and engage in learning new technologies is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field.
• 3 years programming and configuration experience with DeltaV Distributed Control System.
• Commutes to customer sites within the greater Boston Area, optional travel within US or abroad.
• Field instrumentation installation and troubleshooting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Process control experience.
• Familiarity with computer networks Knowledge of cGxP systems and procedures.

• Willingness to learn and develop new expertise.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, test, and maintain DeltaV Control Systems Applications.
• Pursue engineering solutions for process optimization through implementation of process control technologies and strategies.
• Provide support of the daily manufacturing operation for process optimization.
• Collect customer data and utilize it for designing control strategies.
• Participate in the start-up of Distributed Control Systems (DCS) at customer sites.
• Conduct site acceptance testing (SAT) and provide supporting documentation.
• Perform control system loop checks.
• Ability to read and interpret piping and instrument diagrams (P&IDs) and logic descriptions.
• Complete automation projects as a member of a large technical team.
