The Executive Recruiting Manager will work directly with senior leadership across all Delta divisions to mentor and support the growth of our greatest strength, our people.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic partnership to executive leadership, partnering with executive teams to understand business needs and align outside talent with growth goals.
- Define, build and implement leadership recruiting programs and engage for senior leadership roles, mapping talent landscapes and benchmarking internally and externally.
- Lead recruiting for officer-level positions, working with executives and talent acquisition managers to identify talent gaps and target candidate groups.
- Drive end-to-end research engagements from candidate outreach to pre-employment onboarding, including engagement strategies, candidate experience, negotiations, and status reporting.
- Conduct thoughtful candidate interviews to assess capabilities, aspirations, readiness, and fit into the organization.
- Create and maintain competitive data and insights for talent acquisition strategy, including tracking top talent, evaluating industry trends, and ensuring up-to-date information.
- Partner with external recruitment firms for targeted searches and influence hiring decisions with best practices.
- Collaborate with business partners and stakeholders across the business to align recruitment initiatives.
- Follow established talent acquisition processes and technology (ATS) to ensure data accuracy; build capacity within the Executive Recruiting team.
- Work with the Talent Recruiting Marketing team to differentiate Delta’s career opportunities and deliver compelling messaging.
- Advise the Assessment Program Leader on improvement opportunities and creation of assessment materials.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional talent acquisition experience, ideally supporting executives or leadership roles.
- Experience identifying, engaging, and closing high-caliber passive candidates.
- Experience working with C-suite founders and executive teams.
- Use of talent market insights and data to influence leadership decisions.
- Ability to build relationships in a global company.
- Strong problem-solving, strategic planning, and impact-generating skills.
- Knowledge of leadership recruitment or executive talent acquisition.
- Demonstrated personal responsibility, integrity, and time-management.
- Excellent verbal communication and active networking.
- Ability to translate sophisticated information into organized, consumable content.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Understanding of procurement, selection, and contracting regulations, and compliance with EEO, OFCCP and Uniform Guidelines on Employee Selection Procedures.
- Where permitted by applicable law, must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine prior to hire date.
