Summary:

Seeking a Automation Lead who acts as a Technical Manager to lead the Program Technical office. This person will define automation strategies, set technical standards, and ensure consistency across all projects. The role involves hands-on leadership, team oversight, and alignment with cross-functional teams including MES and Digital groups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage PTO team and deliverables
• Oversee automation strategy and technical alignment across projects
• Provide regular updates to Program and Project Managers
• Support project cost estimates and schedule integration
• Coordinate staffing and manage technical risks
• Collaborate with Digital/MES workstreams
• Ensure compliance with GMP, CSV, and training requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Engineering (or equivalent experience)
• 8 to 10+ years in automation within pharma, ideally in API/drug substance manufacturing
• Experience leading large automation projects
• 5+ years with DeltaV Batch DCS
• Knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLCs and Aveva PI preferred
• Skilled in project tools like P6/MS Project
• Strong understanding of GMP, CSV, and regulatory standards
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
