Job summary

Computype Inc in Saint Paul, MN is hiring a Machine Operator to convert products efficiently while following work instructions, CAD drawings, and product specs. You will minimize waste and support lean practices on the production floor.

The role requires one year of machine operation and die cutting experience, ability to lift 50 lbs, and good math and computer skills. Overtime and shift changes may be necessary to meet schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of one year machine operation experience.
• Minimum of one year die cutting experience.
• Ability to read CAD drawings and follow written/verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate delta machines.
• Collect and document production data (material lots, checklists, etc.).
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance.
• Analyze issues to keep production throughput high.
• Follow Lean Manufacturing and quality-at-the-source concepts on the floor.
• Be flexible with overtime and shift changes as needed.
