Qualifications

• Jr. High School Diploma; six months experience in distribution or warehouse environment, shipping/receiving or delivering merchandise; or any combination of training, experience and education which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position.

Responsibilities

• Places stock on shelves or racks and sets up merchandise and sales promotion displays.
• Performs general maintenance and grounds keeping duties for warehouse and/or store.
• Unloads merchandise from warehouse and freight trucks.
• Ensures safe operations of vehicles by assisting delivery truck drivers with directing trucks into unloading areas.
• Records deliveries on delivery record and submits to appropriate management.
• Loads truck in preparation for daily deliveries; assists with delivery, unloading and set-up.
• Obtains customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery.
• Assists with repossessions of goods.
• Assembles merchandise as required.
• Performs customer service inspections and repairs as needed.
• Maintains cleanliness of store/warehouse interior and grounds and upholds the company's Delivery Standards.
