Job summary

SLUMBERLAND INC. is seeking a Warehouse and Delivery Assistant in Madison, WI. Starting pay is $18.00 per hour.

The role supports delivery services, assists customers in-store and over the phone, and handles administrative tasks related to merchandise handling, receiving, shipping, and delivery preparation. The position requires 18+ years of age, the ability to lift up to 75 lbs regularly (and up to 200 lbs occasionally), and the capability to pass a background check and drug test.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers, colleagues, vendors.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 75 lbs. and occasionally up to 200 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb (ladder), balance, turn around, squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, and bend at the knees.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and a drug test.

Responsibilities

• Assist with delivery services and support customers over the phone and in store with administrative and operational duties.
• Handle merchandise receiving, shipping, delivery preparation, and inventory maintenance.
• Assist customers and sales staff, schedule pickups and deliveries, and process payments.
