Job summary

Farmers Home Furniture is seeking a delivery and warehouse associate in Georgia to load, unload, and deliver merchandise to customers' homes or businesses. You will help drive the delivery truck, prepare shipments, and ensure accuracy of deliveries with customer signatures.

Responsibilities include maintaining vehicle safety, stocking shelves, assisting with store/warehouse upkeep, and supporting other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; six months experience in a distribution or warehouse environment.
• Valid State Drivers License and familiarity with the delivery area; ability to meet DOT requirements (Medical Examiners Certification and DOT qualification file).
• Ability to operate delivery equipment and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Drives truck in assigned zone to deliver products; assists with directing trucks into unloading areas.
• Loads/unloads merchandise; obtains customer signature on receipt.
• Maintains vehicle safety and reports fuel usage; cleans and upkeeps store/warehouse areas.
