Job summary

LKQ Corporation is seeking motivated individuals to join our team in Wichita, KS. The role involves operating a company vehicle to deliver products and performing warehouse duties such as parts pulling, staging, and loading onto trucks.

Pay Rate $18.00 an hour. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, DOT compliance, and 6+ months of warehouse experience. The job may require forklift operation and RF scanner familiarity. Daily travel for deliveries is possible.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of related warehouse experience.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Must qualify for Corporate insurance programs, including vehicle insurance.
• Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and FMCSA regulations.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must comply with state and local mandated requirements as well as Department of Transportation (“DOT”) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (“FMCSA”) regulations.

Responsibilities

• Receives labels from the supervisor for parts (may include PBE product) to be pulled for the assigned route.
• Pulls parts and/or PBE products from the appropriate bins and delivers them to the staging area for loading.
• Operates a forklift or order selector to transport parts in and about the warehouse.
• Loads truck or company vehicle according to the delivery schedule and performs a final check-off of parts loaded.
• Sorts and places parts and supplies on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence.
• Respond to customer counter sales immediately by receiving orders, pulling products and loading them into the customer vehicle.
• Verifies in-stock position on product for inside sales staff.
• Drives a company box truck or company vehicle to deliver salvage parts and/or PBE products to customer locations.
• Physically loads truck or company vehicle at the branch and verifies the condition of the truck or company vehicle, manifest and other paperwork associated with deliveries to be made.
• Drives to the delivery destination and physically unloads truck or company vehicle and verifies parts unloaded. Picks up returned parts and/or PBE products and collects customer payments as necessary.
• Assume other duties as assigned.
