Job summary

Reece Supply Company in Norcross, GA is seeking a full-time Delivery Driver and Warehouse Associate to perform daily customer deliveries and warehouse tasks. The role requires a valid license with a clean 7-year record, ability to pass a DOT physical, and lift up to 50 lbs. Experience with box trucks, RF scanners, and forklift operation is preferred.

Qualifications

• Clean 7-year driving history with no DWI.
• Must pass a pre-employment DOT physical and drug screen.
• Able to read a map and follow directions to customer sites.
• 2-3 years of box truck driving experience.
• Good knowledge of basic math and reading skills.
• Active listening skills to contribute to effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Makes deliveries daily to customers in the sales territory in an efficient manner, minimizing time away from the warehouse while driving the vehicle in a safe and courteous manner.
• Reports any mechanical issues with the delivery vehicle to the supervisor immediately.
• Delivers or routes materials to shipping or delivery area in the warehouse, using hand-trucks, carts, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
• Examines pallet loads and package contents to verify accuracy of shipments against records.
• Confers with supervisors or sales representatives to resolve problems such as damages or shortages.
• Stock material, equipment, and supplies to maintain inventory of stock.
• Pull orders and stage material in shipping or delivery area in the warehouse using hand-trucks and forklifts.
• General housekeeping duties to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in warehouse.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
