Job summary

84 Lumber is seeking a full-time Truck Driver to deliver building materials to customer job sites and maintain the lumber yard. A valid state driver’s license and clean driving record are required, with forklift operation as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Must read and speak English sufficiently to communicate with customers and understand highway signs.
• Must safely operate a commercial motor vehicle.
• Provide (on an annual basis) a copy of your MVR and any required violations.
• Must meet FMCSA medical and licensing requirements.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Depending on the truck/hauler, a CDL may be required.
• Have a valid Medical Exam certificate or card if required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver building materials to customer job sites and load freight.
• Operate forklift as part of daily duties.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized lumber yard and warehouse.
• Communicate delays or discrepancies with management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
