Job summary

Farmers Furniture is seeking a warehouse associate in Georgia to load and unload trucks, assist with customer deliveries, and maintain orderly stock and displays. You will ensure safe vehicle operations, record deliveries, and interact with customers for receipts and pickups.

Requirements include a Junior High School Diploma and at least six months in distribution or warehouse work. Candidates should be able to lift and move moderately heavy items and work in a fast-paced retail warehouse

Qualifications

• Minimum Jr. High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of experience in distribution or warehouse environments preferred.
• Experience with shipping/receiving or merchandise delivery is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Place stock on shelves and set up displays.
• Unload merchandise from trucks and assist with deliveries.
• Direct trucks to unloading areas to ensure safe operations.
• Record deliveries and submit to management.
• Load trucks for daily deliveries and assist with setup.
• Obtain customer signatures upon delivery or pickup.
• Assist with repossessions of goods as needed.
• Assemble merchandise and perform basic repairs as required.
• Maintain cleanliness of store/warehouse and follow delivery standards.
