Job summary

The Kroger Company is seeking a skilled van maintenance technician to perform a broad range of repair, restoration and preventative tasks on delivery vans. You will diagnose, repair and replace components, complete safety inspections and document all actions according to company policies and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include conducting safety checks, using work orders, and keeping the shop safe and organized while adhering to DOT and EPA requirements.

Qualifications

• Must supply own mechanic tools (1/2 in drive)
• Ability to safely walk, stand, bend, reach and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work outdoors and in varied weather conditions
• Strong communication and safety documentation skills

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintenance and installation of delivery vans per company policy
• Perform safety inspections and document findings
• Complete work orders with accurate repair descriptions and parts usage
• Maintain cleanliness, safety and compliance in shop
• Support training programs and adapt to shift needs
