Job description

Delivery Truck Driver - $23.75 per hour / Paid training / No CDL required

Rocket Logistics Inc is seeking SAFE DRIVERS to deliver overnight. You will be delivering pallets for one of the largest e-commerce companies in the world.

This is a full-time position requiring Saturday or Sunday availability. We provide brand new 24 to 26 foot box trucks and will pay for your DOT certification if needed.

Approximate shift start times are between 10 PM and 3 AM, with routes ending between 10 AM and noon (times are approximate). Shifts range from 8 to 13 hours per night and are available 7 days a week. MUST HAVE AT LEAST ONE WEEKEND DAY AVAILABLE.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Valid non-probationary driver's license
• 3 years of box truck or commercial driving experience preferred
• Ability to speak/read English
• Must pass a background check covering the past 7 years for driving and criminal history

Delivery Driver Duties and Responsibilities

• Safely operate 24 to 26 foot box trucks overnight in varying weather conditions
• Use handheld devices for routing and delivery information
• Load and unload packages using a pallet jack; drivers will not lift more than 75 pounds
• Sort and stack freight on pallets
• Operate apps and GPS for navigation
• Work varied start times between 10 PM and 8 AM, with shifts lasting 7 to 13 hours
