Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, a Fortune 500 company, is hiring a CDL-B driver in Millbury, MA to deliver materials to customers and support warehouse operations. You will load/unload with pallet jack, follow DOT safety rules, and work a 6am–4pm schedule with potential overtime.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to the customer, using pallet jack and two-wheel dolly for loading/unloading.
• Pick up customer returns and validate product for credit requests.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections; fuel the truck; report issues to supervisor.
• Follow and implement all safety policies and procedures.
• Assist warehouse with pulling/prepping orders and receiving, verifying, stocking materials.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Wear PPE and adhere to safety regulations.

Schedule: M-F 8-hour shift between 6am-4pm (OT possible/ hours may vary)

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid CDL Class B
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Flatbed operating experience a plus
• Meet and maintain qualifications for CDL requirements
• Follow all DOT standards and regulations
• Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card in order to meet driver requirements.
• Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs
• A background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving and delivery is a plus
• Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach
• Able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads

Responsibilities:

• Deliver materials to the customer, which includes utilizing pallet jack and two-wheel dolly to load and unload and ensuring delivery of ticket with material
• Pick up customer returns, validating product match for credit requests
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to supervisor
• Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures
• Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment as needed, as well as receiving, verifying, staging and stocking incoming material
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.

Pay Range:

$21.19 - $33.83

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
