Ferguson seeks a delivery driver/warehouse associate in Bowling Green, KY. You will deliver materials to customers, use pallet jacks and dollies, and assist with warehouse duties. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM with possible overtime.

Starting pay is $26/hour and may be higher with experience. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with company match, PTO, and growth opportunities. CDL-A and 21+ required; pre-employment drug/background checks apply.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate with customers in a courteous and professional manner.
• Must hold a valid CDL A and meet driver qualifications.
• Able to navigate basic technology, including iPads.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to customers using pallet jack and dolly, ensuring tickets accompany material.
• Pick up customer returns and verify product matches for credit requests.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and fuel the truck as needed.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Assist warehouse personnel with order pulling, receiving, staging and stocking incoming material.
• Work overtime as needed and comply with PPE and safety requirements.

This role will involve both delivery driving and warehouse support duties as needed

Schedule

Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM and some overtime as needed

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL A
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Meet and maintain qualifications for CDL requirements
• Follow all DOT standards and regulations
• Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card in order to meet driver requirements.
• Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs
• A background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving and delivery is a plus
• Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach
• Able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to the customer, which includes utilizing pallet jack and two-wheel dolly to load and unload and ensuring delivery of ticket with material
• Pick up customer returns, validating product match for credit requests
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to supervisor
• Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures
• Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment as needed, as well as receiving, verifying, staging and stocking incoming material
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.

Pay Range

$18.30 - $29.22

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
