Job summary

Ferguson is seeking a CDL A driver to deliver materials to customers, load/unload with pallet jack, and maintain safe, efficient operations. The role emphasizes safety, DOT compliance, and customer service. You will be home daily with no nights or weekends in this position, with overtime as needed and a comprehensive benefits package.

The ideal candidate has a valid CDL A, is at least 21, and can operate basic technology including iPads. Prior warehouse/logistics experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Meet and maintain qualifications for CDL requirements.
• Follow all DOT standards and regulations.
• Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card.
• Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs.
• A background in warehouse operations and logistics is a plus.
• Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach.
• Able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to the customer, loading/unloading with pallet jack and dolly; ensure delivery ticket with material.
• Pick up customer returns and validate product for credit requests.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections; fuel as needed; report issues to supervisor.
• Follow and implement all safety policies and procedures.
• Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment, receiving, verifying, staging and stocking incoming material.
• Work overtime as needed.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and wear PPE (including safety harness as required).

Responsibilities:

• Deliver materials to the customer, which includes utilizing pallet jack and two-wheel dolly to load and unload and ensuring delivery of ticket with material.
• Pick up customer returns, validating product match for credit requests.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to supervisor.
• Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures.
• Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment as needed, as well as receiving, verifying, staging and stocking incoming material.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.

Pay Range: $19.26 - $30.76.

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
