Job summary

Amarr Garage Doors, part of ASSA ABLOY, is seeking a Delivery Truck Driver to join our Portland team. This role involves safe, timely deliveries, loading/unloading, and assisting in warehouse tasks when not driving.

• Unload and accurately receive incoming product.

In this position you will:

• Provide deliveries to customers in a safe andtimelymanner while strictly followingAmarr’spolicies spelled out in the Driver Handbook (including pre-trip, inspections,log books, safe driving, etc.).

• Keep all drivers certification documents ready and available for display at all times.

• Assistin the completion of production ordersin warehouse when not driving.

• Accurately load & unload customers. (Inspect for damaged materials).

• Unload and accurately receive incomingproduct.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license.

• Minimum 1 year of delivery driving experience required (2+ years preferred).

• Minimum 1 year experience driving box trucks or similar.

• Warehouse dutiesperformedin a non-climate controlledenvironment.

• Must be able to read and speak English per DOT guidelines.

• Frequent stooping, bending, walking, carrying, and lifting (50-75 lbs.).

• Ability to meet andcomply withDOT regulations.

• Successfully complete internal Driver Training Program

• Motor Vehicle report must meetAmarr’ss driver standards

• Must be 21 years of age

• High school diploma or equivalent.

The Details:

This position is Monday -Fridayfrom 7am–4pm, flexibility isrequiredin case early or late deliveriesareneeded. The pay rate is $26.00-28.00 per hour based on experience.Benefits include Medical/Dental/Vision, Paid Time Off (that you start earningimmediately), Paid Holidays from day one, tuition reimbursement, and a 401k plan (with an automatic 3% company contribution, regardless of if you contribute!).
