Job summary

Amarr Garage Doors, part of ASSA ABLOY, is hiring a delivery driver in Attleboro, MA. The role emphasizes safe, timely deliveries, loading and unloading, and adherence to the Driver Handbook and DOT rules.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide deliveries to customers safely and on time per policy.
• Keep driver certification documents ready for display.
• Assist in production orders in warehouse when not driving.
• Load/unload products and inspect for damage.
• Receive incoming product accurately.

This is a physically demanding job with consistent heavy lifting in a non-climate controlledenvironment. Please only apply if you are comfortable working in those conditions.

• Provide deliveries to customers in a safe andtimelymanner while strictly followingAmarr’spolicies spelled out in the Driver Handbook (including pre-trip, inspections,log books, safe driving, etc.).
• Keep all drivers certification documents ready and available for display at all times.
• Assistin the completion of production ordersin warehouse when not driving.
• Accurately load & unload customers. (Inspect for damaged materials).
• Unload and accurately receive incomingproduct.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Minimum 1 year of delivery driving experience required (2+ years preferred).
• Minimum 1 year experience driving box trucks or similar.
• Warehouse dutiesperformedin a non-climate controlledenvironment.
• Must be able to read and speak English per DOT guidelines.
• Frequent stooping, bending, walking, carrying, and lifting (50-75 lbs.).
• Ability to meet andcomply withDOT regulations.
• Successfully complete internal Driver Training Program
• Motor Vehicle report must meetAmarr’ss driver standards
• Must be 21 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent.

The Details

This position is Monday -Friday from 7am-4pm, howeverflexibility isrequiredin case early or late deliveriesareneeded. The pay rate is $26-31/hrbased onbut not limited to,skill sets, experience and training,licensureand certifications.Additionalcompensation can include driving bonuses and target bonuses.
