Job summary

Amarr Garage Doors is seeking a delivery driver in New Berlin, WI. The role requires delivering to customers, loading and unloading materials, and adhering to DOT and company policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of delivery driving experience required (2+ years preferred).
• Minimum 1 year experience driving box trucks or similar.
• Must be able to read and speak English per DOT guidelines.
• Valid driver's license.
• Motor Vehicle report must meet Amarr’s driver standards.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

This is a physically demanding job with consistent heavy lifting in a non-climate controlled environment. Please only apply if you are comfortable working in those conditions.

In this position you will :

Provide deliveries to customers in a safe and timely manner while strictly following Amarr’s policies spelled out in the Driver Handbook (including pre-trip, inspections, log books, safe driving, etc.).

Keep all drivers certification documents ready and available for display at all times.

Assist in the completion of production orders in warehouse when not driving.

Accurately load & unload customers. (Inspect for damaged materials).

Unload and accurately receive incoming product.

Requirements :

Valid driver's license.

Minimum 1 year of delivery driving experience required (2+ years preferred).

Minimum 1 year experience driving box trucks or similar.

Warehouse duties performed in a non-climate controlled environment.

Must be able to read and speak English per DOT guidelines.

Frequent stooping, bending, walking, carrying, and lifting (50-75 lbs.).

Ability to meet and comply with DOT regulations.

Successfully complete internal Driver Training Program

Motor Vehicle report must meet Amarr’s s driver standards

Must be 21 years of age

High school diploma or equivalent.

The Details:

This position is Monday - Friday from 7:30am – 4pm, however flexibility is required in case early or late deliveries are needed. The pay rate is $24-26/hr based on experience. Benefits include Medical/Dental/Vision, Paid Time Off (that you start earning immediately), Paid Holidays from day one, tuition reimbursement, and a 401k plan (with an automatic 3% company contribution, regardless of if you contribute!). Candidates for this position must have a good attitude, a desire to work hard with a great team, and the ability to be a self-starter.
