Job summary

Amazon in North Carolina is seeking a Driver Trainer to lead hands-on training for Delivery Associates and drive safety and performance improvements across multiple sites. The role involves in-station sessions, on-road drive-alongs, and collaboration with DSPs and operations teams to uphold quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
• High school or equivalent required; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate daily training classes for up to 30 people, including in‑station classes and drive‑alongs.
• Partner with Delivery Service Partners, Operations Managers, Area Managers, and Learning Teams to coordinate training activities.
• Understand driver programs and training requirements for all drivers in operation.
• Provide timely reporting on training completion, compliance, safety, and maintenance duties.
• Educate and audit driver safety and compliance standards such as driver vehicle inspection reports and hours of service.
