Job summary

The Timberline Group seeks a Director of Delivery who will lead technology strategy and execution for front-end and back-end systems. You will act as a senior technical guardian, guiding prototyping, development, and cross-team standards while mentoring engineers and aligning with architectural vision.

Ideal candidates have extensive C#/.NET experience, mastery of SPAs, microservices, and SQL Server, plus strong communication and leadership skills to align tech with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or scientific discipline.
• 10+ years IT experience with at least 8 years of software development, and 2+ years in a Sr. Software Engineering role.
• 6+ years of programming experience in C# .NET.
• Experience with complex n-tier applications (websites, web services, databases, SOA).
• Experience with Microservices architecture and SQL Server.
• Experience with Entity Framework, Web API and RESTful services.
• Experience with SPA applications and CI/CD practices.
• Strong OO design principles and design patterns.
• Proven ability to mentor other technical staff and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Senior IT team member responsible for technology use, best practices and project application.
• Lead prototyping / proof-of-concept activities and guide team adoption of technologies.
• Oversee low-level design based on high-level architecture and standards.
• Participate in design and development activities; handle complex tasks and ensure high-quality implementations.
• Collaborate with organizational leaders and clients to establish cross-team standards; research new technologies.
