This Delivery Technician role requires a clean driving record, a valid license, and completion of Apria’s Driver Training Program, with a reliable, customer-focused approach to patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of related work experience.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Completion of Apria’s Driver Training Program.
• English reading, writing, and speaking skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely lift, carry, and maneuver equipment up to 160 lbs during deliveries and setups.
• Deliver, set up, and pick up DME and supplies inside patient homes.
• Provide clear, compassionate instruction on equipment use.
• Offer high level of customer service to patients relying on equipment.
• Load and unload equipment from the delivery vehicle.
• Respond to emergency delivery requests when needed.
• Complete delivery logs, pickup forms, and vehicle documentation.
• Maintain supply components in patient profiles.
• Assist with equipment cleaning and minor repairs.
• Perform routine vehicle checks.
• Support additional duties as assigned.

About the Role

The Delivery Technician delivers, sets up, and picks up durable medical equipment (DME) in patient homes. You will educate patients on basic equipment use and ensure safe operation while providing high‑quality customer service.

Schedule

• Multiple shifts available– we service patients 7 days a week

On‑Call Transparency

• On‑call once every 3to 4weeks
• Paid an on‑call stipendPaid from the moment you leave home for a call
• Overtime paid ifon-callcausesover40 hoursin the week
• Techs can take vehicle home for on‑call duties – With management approval

Travel Requirements

• Service radius up to2hours from the branch

Salary Range

• $17.64–$18.86per hour
• Pay varies based on experience, skills, and location
• Eligible for Safe Driver Bonus

• Load and unload equipment from the delivery vehicle
• Respond to emergency delivery requests when needed
• Complete delivery logs, pickup forms, and vehicle documentation accurately
• Maintain supply components in patient profiles
• Assistwith equipment cleaning and minor repairs
• Perform routine vehicle checks
• Supportadditionalduties as assigned

Required

• Ability to lift, carry and maneuver equipment weighing up to 50lbs.as part of daily deliveries andset-ups
• High school diploma or equivalent
• At leastone-yearof relatedwork experience isrequired
