Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain D.O.T. medical card.
• Basic math and keyboard proficiency.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment (upwards of 50 pounds).
• Familiarity with local area and ability to navigate using GPS.
• Functional skills on computers and mobile devices (Android or iOS).

Responsibilities

• Practice safe driving habits and proper safety precautions.
• Responsible for vehicle and equipment while on delivery/pickups.
• Be able to assess home safety and patient needs.
• Perform equipment set up, instruction and education.
• Pickup of equipment following proper procedures.
• Complete orders in an efficient and timely manner.
• Treat patients with kindness and compassion.
• On call on a rotating basis, responding quickly within company guidelines.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.

The Delivery Technician effectively interacts with patients/clients, their families, caregivers, and members of the healthcare/HME team in providing professional home medical equipment products and services. Provides delivery set-up, initial instruction, and pick-up of HME.
