Job summary

Atlantic Health is seeking a DME Delivery Technician to provide safe delivery, setup, maintenance, and retrieval of durable medical equipment for patients in New Jersey. Responsibilities

  • Deliver, set up, inspect, and retrieve DME and supplies per policy.
  • Educate patients, caregivers, and staff on equipment use and safety.
  • Complete delivery, service, maintenance, and billing documentation on time.
  • Perform equipment cleaning, testing, troubleshooting, and minor repairs.
  • Verify patient and delivery information and obtain signatures.
  • Assist with inventory control and warehouse organization.
  • Load, unload, and transport equipment safely.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report issues.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to requests.
  • Participate in on-call, weekend, and after-hours coverage as required.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA and accreditation requirements.

Job Description

Responsible for the delivery, setup, maintenance, retrieval, and repair of durable medical equipment (DME) and medical supplies for patients. Provides patient and caregiver education on equipment use and safety, completes required documentation accurately, maintains company vehicles and equipment, and supports inventory control and warehouse operations. Participates in on-call and after-hours coverage as assigned.

  • Deliver, set up, inspect, and retrieve durable medical equipment and medical supplies in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Educate patients, caregivers, and facility staff on the safe and proper use of equipment.
  • Complete all required delivery, service, maintenance, and billing documentation accurately and on time.
  • Perform equipment cleaning, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and minor repairs.
  • Verify patient and delivery information and obtain required signatures and documentation.
  • Assist with inventory control, equipment tracking, cycle counts, and warehouse organization.
  • Load, unload, and transport equipment safely while maintaining compliance with company safety standards.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond professionally to patient concerns and service requests.
  • Participate in on-call, weekend, and after-hours coverage as required.
  • Maintain compliance with all company, state, federal, HIPAA, and accreditation requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
