SpaceX Job Opportunity: Delivery Systems Specialist - Material Handler (Starlink)

Position Overview:

Join SpaceX's team in Redmond as a Delivery Systems Specialist - Material Handler, supporting the deployment of Starlink, the world's most advanced broadband internet system. Starlink comprises the largest satellite constellation, providing fast, reliable internet to over 5 million users worldwide. Our responsibilities include designing, building, testing, and operating various components of the system, from satellites to consumer equipment.

Responsibilities:
  1. Support production and engineering teams by moving parts to meet the master schedule.
  2. Physically move and expedite materials as needed to support production and engineering, ensuring work order completion.
  3. Verify all materials are properly packaged and banded for transport; assist with loading and unloading trucks.
  4. Coordinate with receiving, quality control, purchasing, and other departments to resolve receipt and distribution issues.
  5. Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand carts.
Basic Qualifications:
  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. At least 1 year of experience in expediting or material handling.
  3. Experience operating forklifts or similar material handling equipment for at least 1 year.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  1. Experience in manufacturing or production environments.
  2. Knowledge of barcode scanning for material documentation.
  3. Experience working with aircraft or automotive parts and assemblies.
  4. Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle.
Additional Requirements:
  1. Availability for one of the specified shifts (morning or evening).
  2. Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
  3. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs unassisted.
  4. Willingness to work in an open-air environment.
Compensation and Benefits:

Pay ranges vary based on level, from $22.00 to $30.50 per hour, determined by experience and skills. Benefits include health coverage, 401(k), paid time off, employee stock options, and shuttle services from Seattle to Redmond.
