Job summary

HD Supply in Minnesota is seeking a Delivery Assistant to support delivery drivers by loading and unloading merchandise, coordinating with customers, and ensuring safety practices are followed during every delivery. The role does not involve operating company or rental vehicles.

You will assist with loading, verify orders, communicate with customers, and help resolve basic service issues while maintaining professional, courteous service at all times.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Assist delivery drivers with loading and unloading merchandise.
• Inspect deliveries prior to load to ensure accuracy and no damage.
• Make customer calls before and during delivery and provide proof of delivery.
• Interface with customers regarding orders and resolve basic service issues.
• Relay escalated concerns to distribution center leadership.
