HD Supply Canada, Inc. in Saint Paul, MN is seeking a Delivery Assistant to support drivers with customer orders and safe, accurate deliveries. You will assist with loading and unloading, speak with customers, and ensure proper documentation is completed.

Under supervision, you will perform warehouse duties, inspect goods on delivery, and help resolve basic service issues. The role requires 0-2 years of experience and a HS Diploma or GED preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of warehouse procedures, requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, and delivery documents.
• Prior delivery assistant experience in a similar industry.
• 1+ years of experience operating material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Works with delivery drivers to ensure the safe, accurate, and efficient delivery of customer orders.
• Inspects deliveries prior to load to ensure customer orders are accurate and free of damage.
• Assists with loading and unloading merchandise into and out of delivery vehicles when necessary using powered and non-powered material handling equipment.
• Makes customer calls before and during delivery.
• Interfaces with customers regarding orders, including providing proof of delivery and resolving basic customer service issues.
• Relays escalated customer concerns to distribution center leadership.
• Provides exceptional customer service by being polite and professional during deliveries.
• Performs general warehouse duties as needed.
