Job summary

Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC is hiring a Day Shift Driver Helper in Eagan, Minnesota. You will assist the driver with loading and unloading, verify freight, support route execution, and help ensure safe and timely deliveries across customer locations.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 75 lbs, read maps, communicate clearly with customers and teammates, and follow written instructions.

Qualifications

• Ability to read maps and maintain geographic awareness.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs unassisted.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work overtime and flexible schedules.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions.
• Must speak, read, and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Accurately load and secure freight for daily delivery routes.
• Scan and verify all route freight before departure.
• Assist drivers with route navigation and delivery coordination.
• Help transport freight to customer locations.
• Pull, stage, load, and unload freight using manifests and established operating procedures.
• Perform material-handling duties, including picking, packing, scanning, kitting, and inventory counts.
• Identify and report overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D).
• Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, when trained and authorized.
• Follow detailed work instructions in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain compliance with TSA, OSHA, company safety requirements, and customer-site rules.
• Provide professional customer service and perform additional duties as assigned.
