Job summary

SMART Way Logistics is hiring a Delivery Driver to operate a company-provided vehicle and ensure safe, on-time delivery of packages to customers. You will use a handheld device for routing and must be comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs while working across routes and varying weather conditions.

Shifts range from 8–10 hours with start times between 8:30a and 11:30a, 3–5 days per week. Benefits include health insurance, PTO, 401(k), tuition reimbursement, training, and opportunities for promotion

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Valid driver's license in the state of employment (CDL not required).
• Excellent customer service, strong interpersonal skills and teamwork.
• Strong time management and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy packages up to 50 lbs.
• Past professional driving experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and operate delivery vehicle at all times.
• Use handheld device for routing and customer delivery information.
• Navigate a variety of routes within the delivery area.
• Must be comfortable driving in varying weather conditions.
• Load and unload packages to be delivered.
• Deliver packages to customers' doorstep.
• Be CUSTOMER OBSESSED and provide excellent service.
