Job summary

SMK Logistics, a Delivery Service Partner based in California, is hiring delivery drivers to support our team and deliver packages and smiles to customers. Typical routes involve safely delivering 200-450 packages daily, with a company device for navigation.

Before your first shift, you’ll complete a 2-day training course and a ride-along with an experienced driver. Anticipated schedule is 3-5 days per week, 8-10 hours per day, including at least one weekend day, with potential for permanent

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Valid California driver’s license (non-provisional, unrestricted).
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50lbs.
• Willingness to undergo a background check, drug screening, and complete Amazon training.
• Prior delivery or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver 200 - 450 packages per day to homes, apartments, and businesses.
• Operate and inspect a delivery vehicle, ensuring it meets safety and cleanliness standards.
• Repeatedly load and unload packages up to 50lbs.
• Often tilt, push and slide packages weighing between 50-70 lbs. on and off a hand truck without helper.
• Navigate and follow delivery routes using a company-provided device.
• Work in all weather conditions: rain, heat, cold, etc.
• Maintain high standards for attendance, performance, and safety.
• Support teammates as needed by assisting with additional routes.
• Communicate effectively with support team to provide exceptional customer service.
