Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist to safely operate store vehicles and deliver parts to professional customers. You will process COD deliveries, collect payments, and secure assets such as vehicles, cards, and cash.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet company standards (14/18-point system).
• Must possess a valid state driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, and update mileage.
• Keep vehicles clean and inspected; secure all keys, fuel cards, devices, and monies collected.
• Handle customer returns and fill out driver return slips.
• Notify management of any customer needs or problems; report vehicle maintenance promptly.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled and vehicle is secured at end of day; clock in/out as policy requires.
• Assist customers as needed, serve as cashier, and help with merchandising when business dictates.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including stocking, tagging, and errands.
