Job summary

Carter Lumber in Columbus, OH is seeking a Delivery Specialist to transport orders to customers using a company vehicle, ensuring safe and timely deliveries while delivering friendly, professional service.

You may assist in the Yard when deliveries slow to help meet weekly hours goals, with a path for growth within our family-owned company.

Qualifications

• Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials, furniture, appliances and other large items.
• An acceptable driving record (some states require a chauffeur, class C or class D license).
• Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment is preferred.
• Ability to be a team player.
• A friendly, customer-service-driven personality.

Responsibilities

Description

As one of our Delivery Specialists, you will be responsible for transporting orders to customers in a safe and timely manner using a company vehicle. You will ensure that daily delivery schedules are met while providing friendly and professional customer service. If deliveries slow down, you have the opportunity to help in the Yard to ensure you reach your weekly hours goal.

Requirements
