Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a full-time delivery associate in Seattle to operate company vehicles and ensure timely delivery and pickup of packages. You will check shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards and cover all routes within the station’s service area while performing related customer service tasks.

Minimum education is a high school diploma or GED, with six months courier experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Six (6) months courier experience preferred. Must be able to demonstrate area knowledge.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and respond to official inquiries in accordance with FMCSA guidance.

Responsibilities

• Operates company vehicles and provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick up of packages.
• Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service.
• Provides coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area.
• Performs related customer service functions.
