Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a courier to operate company vehicles, deliver and pick up packages on assigned routes, and provide courteous, efficient service within the station's service area.

You will check shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards, and perform related customer service duties while maintaining safety and a neat appearance. Minimum education is a high school diploma/GED with 6 months courier experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months courier experience preferred; ability to demonstrate area knowledge.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and handle heavier packages with equipment or assistance.
• Must be at least 21 years old and able to read and speak English sufficiently for traffic and safety directions.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles and deliver/pick up packages on assigned routes with courteous service.
• Verify conformance of shipments to FedEx service features and safety rules.
• Provide related customer service functions and maintain a neat appearance at all times.
