Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking delivery drivers in Merrionette Park, IL to transport parts to stores and distribution centers. You will operate company vehicles, adhere to schedules, and log mileage daily.

The position offers compensation between $15.00 and $20.00 per hour, benefits, and opportunities for growth. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply; a valid state license and clean driving record are required.

• Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicle to deliver parts and products to stores and/or distribution center.
• Must have a legal state driver’s license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements.
• Pick up and sign for stock transfers at each stop on set route, deliver to appropriate store.
• Maintain daily city route manifest for deliveries.
• Keep fleet/fuel card, vehicle, and keys secure.
• Familiar with accident report guidelines.
• Ensure designated team member at each store verifies all invoices and signs the route manifest.
• Deliveries must be made according to set schedule; any delays reported to city delivery supervisor and/or remaining stores on route.
• Project professional and personable image to maintain good customer relations.
• Communicate any problems or special needs from stores to store management.
• Clock in/out according to company policy.
• Check fluid levels (oil, radiator, transmission, etc.) and log mileage prior to operating vehicle each day.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs immediately to store manager.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled, lock and secure vehicle at end of day's business.
• Drive safely and defensively.

Compensation Pay Range

$15.00 - $20.00

The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance, or premiums that may be paid in amounts ranging per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Deliver parts and/or products to O’Reilly stores and DC in a safe and efficient manner.
