O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist in Springfield, MO to operate store vehicles, deliver parts to professional customers, and collect COD payments while maintaining safety and efficiency. You will also handle customer returns and keep all equipment secure and in good condition.

The role may include cashier duties and merchandising assistance as needed, with bilingual candidates encouraged.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system.
• Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet management hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, complete daily vehicle inspections, etc.
• Keep vehicles clean and maintained; perform daily vehicle inspections.
• Secure all monies, keys, fleet cards, and devices.
• Pick up customer returns and complete driver return slips.
• Communicate customer needs or problems to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs or incidents to the store manager.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled and vehicle is locked at end of day.
• Clock in/out per company policy.
• Assist customers and operate as cashier or merchandising support when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
