Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a delivery driver in Milford, MA to safely deliver parts to customers. You will use handheld devices, capture signatures, log mileage, and perform daily vehicle inspections.

Role includes various duties from stocking to customer service, with potential shift flexibility and multilingual communication encouraged. The position requires a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record; bilingual (Spanish) skills are highly desired and supported by an inclusive team

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system.
• Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers safely and efficiently.
• Use delivery fleet devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, update mileage, and perform daily vehicle inspections.
• Keep vehicles clean, maintained, and inspected before operating.
• Secure vehicles, keys, fleet cards, devices, and monies collected at all times.
• Pick up customer returns and complete driver return slips.
• Communicate problems or special needs to store management.
• Report maintenance needs or vehicle damage immediately.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled and vehicle is locked at end of day.
• Clock in/out per company policy.
• Assist with stocking, merchandising, and other duties as assigned.
• May assist customers as cashier or help with merchandising when needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
