Job Description

The Delivery Specialist will operate store vehicles to deliver parts and products to professional customers safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include collecting money on C.O.D. deliveries and handling customer returns.

Essential Job Functions

1. Operate company vehicles for deliveries.
2. Use fleet management devices to process deliveries and perform vehicle inspections.
3. Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of vehicles.
4. Secure delivery items, keys, and monies.
5. Handle customer returns and communicate with store management about issues.
6. Report vehicle problems promptly.
7. Ensure vehicles are fueled and secured at day’s end.
8. Adhere to company policies for clocking in/out.
9. Assist with customer service, stocking, merchandising, and other duties as needed.
10. May serve as cashier or assist in merchandising during busy times.

Qualifications

Required: Ability to match alphanumeric sequences, strong communication skills, adapt to changing situations, valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record.

Desired: Automotive parts knowledge, operation of store equipment, multilingual skills (Spanish preferred).
